Narrator: Interested in creating a stock alert using the Schwab Mobile app? Alerts can be created from the quote details of a particular security, your watchlist, the profile menu, and more. For this example, we'll create a stock alert from the quote details screen. To get started, tap Markets. Select the search icon and type in the desired symbol.

Tap Set an Alert to open the alert settings for that security.

First, we'll set a price alert. Select Target price, tap the desired price type and direction, and enter the target price. When ready, tap Set Alert.

To set an alert based on press releases, earnings reports, and more, navigate to News and events from the Set an Alert screen.

For this example, we'll set an alert when an earnings report is released from the company. Tap Earnings reports, then tap Set Alert.

To see your open alerts, tap the profile icon, then tap Stock Alerts.

Here you can review and edit your open alerts. Tap the Earnings report alert we just created, then tap Edit alert to modify the parameters that will trigger a notification.

To view triggered alerts, navigate to Stock Alerts, then tap the Triggered alerts tab.

Schwab will maintain a list of alerts that successfully triggered up to 30 days in the past for your review. Please note that alerts on Schwab Mobile are not synchronized with alerts on thinkorswim® or the Schwab.com website.
