Narrator: Looking to secure your account using Schwab Mobile?

Narrator: To begin, tap the My Profile icon in the left-hand corner, then tap Security Settings.

Narrator: Here, you'll find a list of security features to choose from, including changing your login ID, password, security questions, biometrics, passcode and more. Beginning with Change Login ID, you can update your login ID at any time. To begin, tap Change Login ID, then enter your new Login ID.

Narrator: When providing or changing certain security details, such as login ID or password, you'll be presented with requirements your new details must meet before proceeding. All checkmarks will turn green when your information meets the necessary criteria. Each time you change your login ID, you'll be logged out and prompted to log back in with the new login information. If you decide not to change your ID, simply tap Cancel to return to the security settings menu.

Narrator: You can change your password on Schwab Mobile in a couple of steps. Tap Change Password, where you'll enter your current password as well as a new one.

Narrator: Password requirements appear underneath. Be sure not share your account access information, including but not limited to your login ID, password, PIN and transaction codes, with anyone. If shared, we will consider their activities to have been authorized by you.
Narrator: Worried about forgetting your password in the future? Completing a security question can give you another way to login without needing to call Schwab for assistance. Tap Security Q&A, then tap the question dropdown to select & answer one of the premade questions.

Narrator: Review the requirements, and when you're done, tap Change Security Q&A.

Narrator: Next, you can tap Biometrics & Passcode to enable Face ID and manage your passcode. Keep in mind, for your security, Schwab does not recommend enabling the passcode feature on a shared device.

Narrator: Additionally, by using biometric login, you confirm that anyone who has Face ID enrolled on your device is authorized to access your account.
Narrator: Access your Schwab account from multiple devices? Tap Trusted Devices.
Trusted Devices is tapped
Narrator: Here, you'll be able to track the most recent login to your account as well as the last login from each trusted device. This also includes any access you've granted to a third-party service. See unauthorized activity? Tap Don't recognize this login.

Narrator: Then, review the guidelines carefully to verify whether you authorized the activity. Additionally, you can choose to edit or remove trusted Device access by tapping on the right-most corner of each trusted device section.

Narrator: Need to enable or disable third-party access to one or more of your accounts? Select Third-Party Access to see a list of third parties, like tax preparation programs, receiving access to your account information.

Narrator: To manage third-party access, click on one of the linked accounts to see a list of granted access & restrictions.
An account is selected
Narrator: Here, you'll have the option to enable or disable access to your Schwab accounts by tapping on the toggle switch found to the right of each account. To automatically link new Schwab accounts to the third-party, tap to enable the toggle switch next to Automatically link new Schwab accounts. Tap Stop Linking to remove access and stop sharing data with the third-party account.
